The women trembled at the sight
Two holy angels dressed in white
I know who you seek, the Prince of Peace
He has risen, risen indeed

Jesus, Jesus Your life shines on
Son of God, mighty One
Could not be held by the grave
By Your blood we are saved

Mary and Mary ran to tell
But the disciples could not believe
Then Jesus appeared in their midst
And sent them out into the world to preach

Easter Day still shines on
Years have past since it begun
Jesus lives, yes it's true
Believe in Him and He'll save you
