Once upon a time there was a man
He was on a mission to become our savior
A mission of the likes never seen before
He would change the course of our history forever

His name is on our lips in our direst hour
That’s because He provided for our bail
Ancient prophecies lead to the belief in a Messiah
Those prophecies predicted His life and death in the finest detail

When he lived with us and between us
Noble yet humble and like any other man
He teached us to be kind to each other
And to forgive as often as we can

I want to be just like Him
Full of empathy, not afraid to show my emotions
But always stable, focused, making the most of the moment
With words as soothing as an after sun lotion

In Gods holy Name
May His Kingdom come
Both in the heavens and on earth
May Gods will be done

Please forgive us our sins
Since we are just flesh, dust and bone
Be with us in our direst hour
Please don’t let us be alone
Let nothing or nobody get between us
Please allow us to come before your Holy throne
