Jesus Rose Poem by Babatunde Aremu

Jesus Rose

No controversy, Jesus rose.
Like a seed buried underneath the ground,
He sprouted luxuriantly through the dirt.
As yeast hidden in a dough,
Yet he rose becoming bread of life.
Like a tree breaking through hard rock,
Jesus rose to become eternal rock.
He rose to set the captives free;
He rose triumphantly against Satan and death.
He rose.
The King is alive!
His dominion is without end.
His throne is established in justice forever.
