Jfk To Mm - Poem by Colm Flanagan

O Marilyn Marilyn
Be my movie star
My honey sweet
Happy birthday singer.
Be my hip swivelling
Smoke jumping
Jello on springs
Assed saxophonist.

Cure me Marilyn
Kiss me like Hitler
Make me Tony Curtis
And Cary Grant.
Roll me into one
And turn my nothing
Into everything.

Be my alabaster breasted
Monument to womanhood.

But Marilyn
Do it tonight
Because tomorrow
Frank’s in town
