Jigsaw Poem by Daniel Y.

Jigsaw

Like the gliding frisbee you couldn't catch
We sail on!
We fly!
The flow of purpose gently under us.
She became everything, so naturally. So right.
I - I.
Don't know what to say.
Those beautiful butterflies
tying knots with my intestines.

Once the ring was finger-fit,
my heart was signed to her.
But far before,
my heart was destined.
Formed from her love
it had her name inscribed.
‘Twas hers before we met.
Written in the stars above.
Whispered by the winds.
Carried by the waters.
A love far greater than
Those written in poems.
