Jingled bells resound,
In the cave uphill—
A man sits in stillness,
Alone, wrapped in perfect silence.
A heavy bell echoes, rippling around,
Then a voice, deep and profound:
"READ, in the name of thy Sustainer,
Who has created man from a germ-cell.
Read—for thy Sustainer is the Most Bountiful,
Who taught with the pen,
Taught man what he knew not before.
But man, given to pride,
Forgets when he feels self-sufficient,
Yet unto thy Sustainer, all will return."
A moment that echoes, timeless and vast—
The gift divine, for humankind at last.
