Rating: 5.0

I heard pawpaw said
with the first paw
sounding like the first pa in papaya.

I gave it a try in a shop.

Far from hitting her like a bomb,
she came to the party and took it with aplomb;
she said she was studying linguistics
and was intrigued by the variation.

I said, 'You hear it in a Carib nation.'
