Jonathan Swift,
author of Gulliver's Travels,1726,
made an astonishing assertion about the Planet Mars.
He claimed that the Red Planet had two satellites;
and he even provided a detailed description
of their orbits.
A century and half later, in 1877,
the American astronomer Asaph Hall
discovered the two satellites described by Swift,
surprizingly close to the exact orbits
as predicted by the British author.
There is close to zero probability
for such thing to happen, but it happened.
