Journey - Poem by Kathryn Brookins
To make a journey in life,
we need only to live,
To keep from stress and strife,
we need only to forgive.
Ourselves and others, for we do not always know,
what we are saying or doing at that time,
We are humans, and sometimes we are slow.
To wander the valleys of time,
and to take intrest in others,
is the beauty of ones mind.
A Journey in ones life is living day to day,
appreciating all that we have,
in every imaginable way.
To be greatful for the love we have around us,
to give that love back with extra,
and avoid if we can, much arguement and fuss.
I wish you all a deep, beautiful journey ahead,
for we all must walk our own road,
we can not journeys eachother instead.
But we can cross roads from time to time,
and we can share our stories,
Yours with yours, and me with mine.
Blessed be us, as we journey and walk
as we hold one another in times of need,
and give one another encouraging talk.
For we all need eachother, No one should stand alone...
Even a rock, finds a friend in another stone.
