I looked at the moon
and I knew I had a lover.
I looked at a rose cloud
and I knew I had a life.
I looked at the skeleton trees
and I knew beauty.
I looked at the sea
and I knew my limitations.
I looked at my daughter's face
and I knew my future.
I closed my eyes
and I knew that I could see.
