Journey To Root Poem by Khaled Ehtesham

Journey To Root

Rating: 5.0

How much fruit
Should I expect from a tree
Which doesn't have any root?
I was walking through an ancient civilization
Covered stones by dust and time
Was saying the story of lost nation.
Where they have gone?
And why they are so mourn?
Now, should I look at me?
Nothing I find except an endless journey……

I have read your voice when it was raised in enthusiasm- -and I enjoyed it. Now I find your voice soft in its philosophic musing- -and I enjoyed it. You have range of topic and style but one thing your poems have in common is that probing mind wanting to explore wanting to know wanting to feel. I have become a fan, my friend. Excellent write! A 10
