Journey Together - Poem by Amani Bakari

When the winds of the storm begin to blow
I know a place where you can go
It starts with H and ends with T
And flows with love inside of me

And if that place will not suffice
Mark my word and remember this
Even if death should come your way
I’m prepared to come with you that day

Next to you there is no other
Without you each day I’ll be sadder
If you’re not here there is no tomorrow
So whatever the weather we’ll journey together
