July In New York Poem by Frank Sheehan

July In New York

Rating: 5.0

Steamy, sizzling days
hot humid nights
air conditioner on high

Fireworks for the 4th
scenic, amazing sunset
people out in abundance

Near the beach
brings relief
festive afternoon

Yankees in pennant race
passing time
relaxing, comforting

Dinner outdoors
beer cools, quenches
majestic time

Walk on Boardwalk
great exercise
good for the soul

We know this perfectly well - - -
this life
is a dream
