Jump - Started Heart Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Jump - Started Heart

It was as if the sky were smiling,
and watching our every move.
Your arm around my shoulders,
my head on your chest.
I pulled back to look at the grin on your face.
You leaned in a little closer,
I saw your eyes glancing at my lips.
'Is it okay? '
I smiled and looked into your eyes.
I could see you staring back at mine.
I leaned in,
I could feel my neck stretch out,
my head turn to the side.
Your lips gentley touched mine.
A shiver sent through my body,
You jump started my heart.
