June Baby Poem by Duku Akwasi Odwaa Boffour

June Baby

Mom said there were rains everyday
The clothes won't dry
The napkins won't dry
The bedsheets were always wet and soaked

But being a Mom is always wonderful
Always magical
She always find a way to cloth her little darling
She always finds a way to make bed for her little angel.

Mom said everything was green
Even the cemented floor
No wonder we are wild, green and deep thinkers.
We love but wild

Everything wild is nature
Everything nature is green
Everything green is rain
Everything that the rain blesses is June born
