Just Poem by Paul Reed

Just

The grass seeds scatter and find new life

The roses blossom and bloom

The world finds itself again

When you walk into the room

The birds fluff their feathers

To try and keep out the cold

You bring me all the warmth I need

As I find myself growing old

The clouds roll back to let heaven through

My memories are all safe and sound

What a lucky man I have been

Just to have you around
