Just A Dream Poem by Jo Lynn Ehnes

Just A Dream

Deep in a dream
I saw you there
I'm sorry
Couldn't help but stare
So young and virile
Was your frame
And one I surely
Wished to tame

I looked into
Your teasing eyes
And knew I'd
Never say goodbye
To one whose magic
Held me tight
I knew our lust
Would seal the night

I held your hand
And kissed your lips
As tongues entwined
You pulled my hips
Against your body
Firm and strong
I knew this dream
Could not go wrong

Our music played
For hours on end
To paradise
My soul you'd send
With every kiss
My passions flew
With every stroke
Excitement grew

I felt the floods
Of rapture flow
As deep inside
Desire would grow
Until our spirits
Merged as one
And then my dream
Was sadly done

I watched your aura
Fade away
Then woke within
The light of day
With memories
Of a perfect sleep
And daydreams
Of a love to keep
