Just A Little Slice Poem by hidden poet

wow. pretty intense. i liked the idea of voluntarily choosing to undergo pain to distract from a deeper, more unbearable pain. it's a feeling i can relate to. a lot of ppl assume that if you voluntarily hurt yourself, you must need medical help. personally, i think it sometimes keeps people sane. though in excess it is exceedingly dangerous, and it is rather difficult to stop once you've started. but maybe maybe not tonight i applaud the persona's efforts of self control. :) thanks for sharing!
