Just Another Day - Poem by Lauren Mulcahy

It's just another day,
For me to sit and wait,
For someone to arrive,
But things they never change.

I'm always doubting me,
It's something you can't see.
I hide behind a smile,
Even though I'm feeling weak.

And I just want someone to notice,
And I just want someone to care.
To realize I'm not alone,
And to know someone is there.

It's just another day,
For me to sit and wait.
