Just Another Ordinary Miracle Poem by Alfred Ramos

Just Another Ordinary Miracle

The sun comes up again for the gazillionth time
Just another ordinary miracle
The reddish orange sky will turn into a brilliant blue shine
Just another ordinary miracle
The new light dresses the hills with the fabric of life
Just another ordinary miracle
Rays of light slice through the tree branches like a golden knife
The gentle breeze speaks volumes as it rustles through your hair
Just another ordinary miracle
Sunrays sweep away the misty fog into its lair
Just another ordinary miracle
The rooster crows
The sunflower grows
The mockingbirds sing
The church bells ring
The mind is racing
The heart is embracing
The coffee is brewing
It’s all the Lord’s doing
All the rivers flowing
All the smiles glowing
All the come true wishes
Makes all the strawberries delicious
Then the final curtain of light is drawn
The shadows swallow the sun
Just another ordinary miracle
Stars are born to accompany the silver moon
Dreams are waiting to slip out of your subconscious none too soon
Just another extra ordinary miracle
