Just Another Season Poem by Monica M Engeler

Just Another Season

There is a chill in the air,
Can you feel it?
Can you smell it?
The weather is changing.

The leaves are evolving new colors,
Red, yellow, orange, so beautiful.
Another season is in bloom,
So much change is going on.

It is time to put those shorts and t shirts away,
And grab the warm sweaters and jeans,
It's autumn now and summer is over until next year,
That change never stops the weather.

Those last flowers of summer, gone.
Those colorful leaves bunching up in the grass,
Those loud acorns falling on the rooftops,
Those geese flying south.

Its all about that change,
Time never stops,
Life lives, grows and ever changes a new.
So beautiful is our world.

You think you can get used to one season
Time runs out before you know it
Never think time will stop for you
It doesn't know how.

Tomorrow will be faster here
And another season will begin
Winter, spring, summer and Autumn
Then it starts all over.

Its just another season,
Just another season,
It comes and it goes,
And in the end, Its just another day.
