Just Another To Miss Poem by Cheryl McDonnell

Just Another To Miss

From this room I took so much
The wisdom oyster makes home inside of me
Prepared for pearls
Now you’ve basically solved me
I never thought you could
Welcome to the list
Of places I will cry to return to
A happy cattle brand
Will you see the same stars as me
Or will the sky distort again
Don’t hold your breath.
