Just Another Winter Song... Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Just Another Winter Song...

Just another winter song
to give and please,
for someone I long
around my Christmas trees.
Just another dream
with life and its sorrow,
in winter's glowing beam
of lost dreams tomorrow.

Just another time with you
that I had once,
a love that came to me through
in its days and dance.
Feelings so much inside a heart
a touch of moment's way,
that gave me a beginning start
in times play.

Just another beautiful night
where stars were shining,
their glowing faraway light
on sliver heavens lining.
Oh darling - I remember you,
for you were a part of me.
I see your love in the shining through
where every glowing star is free.

Just another winter song
to give and please,
for someone I long
around my Christmas trees.

Just another dream
with life and its sorrow,
in winter's glowing beam
of lost dreams tomorrow,

of lost dreams tomorrow.
