Just As I Watch, I Walked.. Poem by Anthony Edmond John

Just As I Watch, I Walked..

Rating: 5.0

I stumble and fall,
Preaching a peace that won't come,
Harmony that looks far,
Sodomy that reaches stars.

To the ink, quail, and this page,
A tomorrow that breathes change,
A crotch that must have hymned for eight decades,
A future that will clutch at broken damage,
As the system will further bereave us.

I picked up two pieces, and it's third completed the heart called a continent,
Very distraught I couldn't find contentment,
Somers repentance,
Two spiffs, and a cup of rum,
How norm.

This drifting wooden raft, and it's several ventures into caved havens mystically lit by nature's soothing ambience, and crystal clear ponds that sparkled forth crystals and more,
Two riff-raffs on both sides, still they extort; till this day they loot,
Whose Europe, God's America and in-between an Africa that has been through throes of rape, plunder and till date; three deep hates that grow.

Your several walking through walls,
Awakening through plots,
Thrilled with all sorts,
Sour rounds,
Ferocious romps,
Three fangs,
A solemn mass,
Emerging as graven lords,
History's recall, and your slumbered sleep.
AWAKE!
