Just Because I Was Wrong Poem by matt dahan

Just Because I Was Wrong

Just because I was wrong doesn’t mean you were rite. All I was taught to do was fight.
I grew up wondering what happiness felt like, and I never will understand.
But this little tingle I get on my side when u walk by it has power over any emotion.
You have the power to make me smile or make me cry?
It’s like the game of death, choose rite or I mite die.
It takes one false sentence and the paragraph is off and it takes one wrong sound and nothing seems to make sense.
Life can be based on anything, and lately I don’t know what life is.
You make me feel so good no fear or site can put me down, you have the power and its in your hands.
Take my hands and hold them tight if u let go ill just have to fight, because your worth it to me.
I’ve felt many things before but this feeling I can’t explain its so strong its almost like a game.
You’re the beat to my heart and if you go to far, it’ll never start.
You’re the sun to my sunshine the dark to my darkness you’re the hope to my wishes and you’ll be my only light.
The sun shines on you like the light on the stage; you make me so happy I don’t think that’ll ever change. You mite move a thousand miles or sit in a different class but my love for u will always last.
