I've been in the storm too long; I've not been myself.
I've been bitter and angry for all the things that have happened to me,
and I want to put an end to this madness; I don't want any more sadness.

I do too, but that's just between me and God.

Our God is awesome - he makes me feel like climbing mountains
and drinking water from clear, pure fountains. God is good - so good.
Just between me and God, I'm speaking the truth.
Like Stephanie J. Pride, I sing the "Voice of Triumph."
No one is greater than God, and God will be there for me.

God will be there for me through all my struggles, all my life.
This is just between me and God.
God will bring me out of my trials and tribulations,
and my pain will be no more.
I'll let go and let God, and be blessed.
