Just friends we were

We became friends
Good friends
Chatted an hour or two
Helped with a thing or two
Gave advices nothing new
Made fun
Good friends we had become

Were became friends
Closely attached
I rested upon your chest
Fondled your breasts
And then you know the rest
Closely attached friends
We had become

It's been four months now
You said you had missed your period
Constantly nauseated
And all signs
I thought we did it just once
She said it was countless
It still shocks me so

Now we prepare
For a home coming
For what started as just friends
How fast we had gone
And this it how it ends
A soon to be dad
And also a mum
