Just From Looking Outside The Window Or Door Poem by Daniel Duff

Just From Looking Outside The Window Or Door

Rating: 5.0

Just from looking outside the window or door
I notice some very peculiar things
Like two birds circling around in the dance of death
And exit at once, in opposite ways, but

Could there really be a meaning of this all?
It could have been a rotting corpse. Or it was
A dying god, with tears of darkness, spilling
Forever on. I wonder what the world would be if

It was all just rotting corpses. Or it was
Climate change, the doom boulder, killing us all
Forever on. I wonder what the sky would be if
The sky turned red. The air would have to be red

From climate change, the doom boulder, killing us
Because the foes do not force. They should make sure
The skies turn red. The water would be red with
The blood of civility, pouring from rain,

Because the friends do not force. They should make sure
That no one does the deed. Destruction comes with
The blood of civility, pouring from rain,
Just from looking outsider the window or door
