i try to write my name but it ends with y-l-e
i try and think of something else but it ends up a picture of you and me
i try and imagine what it would be like to be your baby
i wonder could you kiss me this once, just maybe?

i think of you and my eyes wonder away
i sit and ponder our love all day
i wonder what its liked to be wrapped in your arms
could you be my baby
kiss me this once, just maybe?

i try and write a poem
but it ends up about you
i try and see pictures in the sky
but all i see is your eyes like the vast blue
i try and wonder what its like to be your baby

under the starts
in the rain
on my bed
in the yard
no matter where it is
could you kiss me this once, just maybe?
