If we repent, turn away from our offenses, we can get a new heart and a new spirit. For a new start, let us ask God for a new heart.

Beautiful short poem, Margaret. I love the spirit and wisdom inside the verses. Some people may call this a senryu rather than a haiku. There can be a whole discussion found on the internet about what is haiku and senryu. But in the end it does not really matter, What matters is that this is an excellent 5-7-5'er
