You were being hard on me,
Yelling at me that you care,
But now I really do see,
That there were no lies there.
You are my best friend,
I have almost no one else,
I don't have to pretend,
And cry in the art of stealth,
Please know i care,
And i listen to what you say,
And the day i will be gone,
Will most certainly not be today,
So it's ok that you were being hard on me,
Trying to make me better,
I hope you know how much i care,
with this little letter.
I want you to know that,
I'm getting there,
the way you need me to be,
But just one request...
Please...Stand by me.
