Just Plain Ol' Me Poem by Tammie Thrasher

Just Plain Ol' Me

I’d pick a dump truck over a hula-hoop,
And a hot wheels car over a Barbie doll.
I’m me, just plain ol' me!

I hate ribbons and polka dots,
But I love puppy dogs.
I’m me, just plain ol' me!

My favorite sport is football,
I’m five foot six ½ feet tall.
I’m me, just plain ol' me!

My favorite subject is English,
I love to be creative,
I’m me, just plain ol' me!

Every summer I go to my hometown,
And my song has a new sound.
I’m me, just plain ol' me!

I ride four wheelers,
Swim in creeks,
And ride in the back of Chevy trucks.
I’m me, just plain ol' me!

I only wear makeup when I go somewhere special,
I don’t take but five minutes on my hair- just a pony tail.
I’m me, just plain ol' me!

I always get a number four on the taco bell menu,
And with that comes a large mountain dew.
Nothing changes.
I’m me, just plain ol' me!
