Just Right Wrong Poem by Leonell Echa

Just Right Wrong

My human right is left handed;
Abandoned, abused, scorned and bruised.
With no fair for fair-play I am left stranded.
Mere laws protect but without claws violate to annihilate every reason to protest.
A reason regardless-the circle of law is forced
Yours, his and mine and the chain of rights are lost.
To fight is a wrong right, right wrong. Who dares to write wrong a list of rights as wrongs when rights are to humans as wrongs are to us?
Education is a must but the fund of a peasant only buys a cover without the pen.
So education is a felony when finance plays principal.
Right to free and fair trial, yet jungle justice pays the court.
Freedom of speech…Preach…yet we incarcerate the mouth and tie the tongue.
Freedom from slavery but we keep house-helps. And that helps
To re-create more words for modern slavery-House keepers, Helpers, Nannies, Baby sitters.
Abortion is freedom of expression contrasting with natural right to life ideology.
Who needs a natural law to life when with without a natural law you die?
Life is short. Shot dead not above knee level for fair-hearing is deaf-
Aid hearings for wrong rights to engage fingers when a violation of a right right is applauded.
Health is only a concept when a little man dies from no space in a hospital ward.
And he only gets beneath to get rewarded.
We try not to react so we select and wear our sigh lenses (silence)
Silencing every wrong right, right wrong, and to fight is a wrong right, right wrong.
Who dares to write wrong a list of rights as wrongs, when rights are to humans
As wrongs are to us?
