Just Say Three Words Poem by Stephanie N Kjarbaek

Just Say Three Words

There's a boy who's been on my mind
And he wins everytime
But what can I do, you know?
I love him just the same
Sometimes he drives me insane
But what can I do, you know?

I don't want to be stuck on him
But with, I know what to do
Almost any compromise
Or sacrifice will do, I know

And whenever I say his name
I hear the truth, simple and plain
A man I could not take in vain
But he's gone now, now

Just say it, I know, I know
Doesn't matter if you feel
Old or young, life has just begun
You ought to know

Just say those three words
And I'll come running, you know
Just say those three words
And I'll come for you now
You ought to know.
