I would like to be with you
walking down the beach hand in hand
I would like to be with you
writing my name and yours in the sand
I would like to be with you
in silent contemplation of your smile
I would like to be with you
watching you sleep a while
while I dream of all the things I could do
so that I can always be with you

I'm saying all the things I want to say
saying them all loudly and firmly in my head
saying them to you while you walk away
because to say it all has me drowning in dread
I feel in many ways I may not be worthy
I so fear your rejection, more, your pity

but its valentine's day
so I'm just saying
if you are not busy today
I know this place that serves the best curry....
