Just Talk Poem by Lauren Coltrain

Just Talk

People ask if I remember you
I chuckle and nod my head
I feel a slight tug at my heart
And say, 'How could I forget? '
And then they ask me if I miss you
I shrug and say, 'I might.'
But I admit you're all I think about,
when I'm trying to sleep at night
Then they ask if I saw you
What's the one thing I would say
I would ask you if you ever miss me
because I miss you every day
