Just Tell Me Poem by Joshua Francis Belicano

Just Tell Me

Rating: 5.0

I kept on staring at the window,
Trying to figure out what’s wrong with me.
All I spot was your lovely shadow
Slowly- fading away as I see.
I’m afraid to lose you, but it seems
That I am the only one grasping.
Everything I would hear were just screams
Of Pain. The gray heaven is weeping.
The sun’s rays would dim their light on me,
And the moon would hide from me at night.
No more sunny days, they always flee,
Yet Hope says: it shall be alright.
My heart’s shouting: I should fight for you!
But if there is no chance, just tell me.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I really don't know if I'm just chasing a woman I love but it's useless. She likes someone else. Should I stop? But I think I can't. I really love her.

Sounds like chapters from Songs Of Solomon. A lovely piece of poetry elegantly penned from the heart with conviction. I like the subtle romantic nature of the poem and its rhyme scheme. A beautiful piece indeed. Thanks for sharing.
