You were the fire in action
You watched yourself burn

On that day as we parted
Our goodbyes weren't forever
Kiss and hug we shared
Turning to leave each other
We argued who's bye should last

A dove in action
Stirred the heavens but killed

Just yestertide we dine
What'd he say about his return
All planned except the wine
Sour taste like sugar rum
Those twins we agreed to share

An antelope in action
Swift and agile but killed

Embarrassed from first grade
Twins throw sheets back at us
Bet on the first to get laid
Always back to the two of us
Be at ease mama would nag

A lion in action
Fearless but killed

Countless days we fought
You grew to lose your reasoning
What joy lies behind the Fort
Gunfires and explosions ringing
Set yourself ablaze for humanity
