In Karachi's heart, where shadows play,
Among the kings, in power's sway,
A man arose, with spine of steel,
His voice a truth, his cause surreal.

Where gold was weighed in plots of land,
He drew a line, a daring stand.
"No crown shall steal what's rightly ours,
This city's soul, its land, its powers."

The whispers rose, the threats began,
But Arif stood, a steadfast man.
Bribes were offered, lives were cursed,
Through fire and fear, he put Karachi first.

A tycoon sent his briefcase bright,
With golden dreams to dim the light.
"Take it back, " was Arif's tone,
"This city's future is my own."

Through streets of Lyari, his car was trapped,
By men with arms and schemes well-mapped.
But out from alleys, the people came,
"He's one of us! " they cried his name.

The kings were livid, their power frayed,
A minister summoned, his wrath displayed:
"Enough! " he said, "Just play the game,
Approve the plans, forget the shame."

Arif's reply was sharp and clear,
"Karachi's voice is all I hear.
No deals for kings, no lands to sell,
This city's story, I will tell."

And so, the stage was boldly set,
The bulldozers roared, the kings upset.
On Clifton's coast, the final fight,
Against the dark, he brought the light.

A victory won, but danger stayed,
An unseen hand, a bomb they laid.
"Leave, Baba, " his son would plea,
But Arif's courage could not flee.

"Who will stand if I'm not here?
Who will face their greed and fear? "
And though the kings would force him out,
His name remains, his deeds devout.

Karachi whispers of this man,
Who fought for hope, defied the plan.
In slums and streets, his legend grows,
A seed of change, in struggle sown.

For every king who claimed their throne,
Arif proved—Karachi stands alone.
