Kashmir Poem by Javeria Aslam

Kashmir

It was a Paradise.
But they made it a hell.

It used to be a very pleasant place, Until they came to occupy the space.

It was a place which was worth-seeing,
But now it is just a place of battling.

It was the garden of those innocent flowers,
Who didn't know they would be watered with bloody showers.

Those who occupied the place were evil souls,
Who created puddles of blood everywhere with heavy loads.

Those who they killed and those throbbing with pain,
Those heartless people didn't care and they made them die in vain.

So now this place is unfortunately filled with fear,
And the name of this place is unluckily 'Kashmir'.

But I still pray to God that may,
Kashmir become a Paradise again!
