Katauhan Natin (Our Identity) Poem by Mark Trajano

Katauhan Natin (Our Identity)

All hands face north making way for a rise.
A new perspective will be born for Her
riding the eight rays of power so wise,
o'er he horizon its scent is of myrrh.

Eyes are opened, strengthened, with the bright light,
backs are straightened without hesitation;
rays lift souls and move legs, taking a flight.
From heads bowed down, we changed orientation.

The three gold lamps light the path to glory
leading en and women to breathe as one.
From north to south, this familiar story
surpasses time as it's never been done.

Constellations made a mark in the sky
complementing The Pearl Of The Orient.
Unmovable, they are, d'rections imply;
like chariots of the gods, they are sent.
