Keeping Silent Poem by Audrey Marie Kay

Keeping Silent

My mom asked me what was wrong
I told her it had just been a long day
She has no idea that their fights caused it
The disruption of peace they put in my life
All their pointless fights
I just want to cry
But i shake my head
and keep silent
