Killed A Bug Poem by Patrick O'Reilly

Killed A Bug

We were sitting on the rug
Killed a bug, killed a bug
It's just a little thing

There's a stain that used to breathe
Walked on legs, chewed on leaves
Just a little thing

She said it's an ugly smear
I just stare, but she don't care
It's just a little thing

I don't like to go to mass
I hate to ask to take the task
God loves all His things

And there's the stain that had a breath
I Crack a frown, I break a sweat
What an awful thing
