Killing Floor (Song Lyric) Poem by John Carter Brown

Killing Floor (Song Lyric)

KILLING FLOOR

I'm a fighter not a lover
so don't you come near me
if you give me any trouble
I'll see you turn and flee

I'm living for the danger
that a hard man seeks
and I will take no nonsense
from the fools and freaks.

I'm a real hard man
like I said before
and I'll put you down
on the killing floor.

You'd better listen up my friend
and take yourself away
I'm really in no mood
for the likes of you today

I live for the danger
that a hard man loves
I'm a bare-knuckle fighter
and I don't wear gloves

I'm a real hard man
like I said before
and I'll put you down
on the killing floor.

Let me tell you people
all gathered round the ring
just how I make my money
and I'm not here to sing

I'm taking on all-comers
no matter what their size
I see the purse awaiting
and fear in all their eyes.

I'm a real hard man
like I said before
and I'll put you down
on the killing floor.
