Killing Time Poem by Daniel Miltz

Killing Time

I'm hanging, standing by without complaining
Sometime this endeavor
Will close
Sometime in the future
O' I'm conceding, conceding
Waiting, abstaining
Sooner or later
This peregrination ought to stop
This heart could rest
In serenity
Regularly
Usually
I generally feel
Upon my resources take
Pausing my breathing, chilling out
And everything, except, auricularly discern
The dead leaves stir proximate to me
A denotement to be very still
Wasting time being patient waiting
I'm hitting the road
