Kindred Spirit Poem by Minnie Gehrig

I thought we were soulmates intertwined in the need we had for each other,
I was wrong it seems we are kindred spirits sent to soothe each other,
and i am all the more joyous for the friendship!
gratefull to have some one to talk to and relate to more than a lover to cast aside like some empty husk,

Whisper in my ear then spirit,
Let us fall into each other
completley no lies, no lines,
like only friends can!
