Kite Poem by Meghna Dash

Kite

The sunlight was gay
And I was it's smile.
I spread to the bluish sky
Like a tortoise moving towards the sea.

Slow and steady, sea lasted till hours,
And I felt of me, going upwards.
With all strings attached,
I came to conclusion,
'Yes', I am in love.
