Knife Poem by Tess Green

Knife

Rating: 4.5

A tear forms;
and silently-
it rolls down
her cheek.

Her body
quivers as
she watches
her man
walk away.

S.l.o.w.l.y
She falls.
Knees.
Hands.
Her lovely
face,
meets the
cement.

A knife,
plunged deep
into her
back. As
she kissed
him goodnight.

She lies
in her
own
blood.

He turns back,
and smiles.
