Knocking On Death's Door Poem by Krystal ...

Knocking On Death's Door

Night falls and despair dawns.
She breaths a sigh of relief, for the pain will finally be gone.
Life sometimes seemed to be to much.
She thinks to herself, That she has finally had enough.
'There is no other way', she says aloud.
As if there were someone there that could stop her now.
She sees her reflection in the mirror.
She tries hard not to blink, As she watches, a tear fall in to the bathroom sink.
They begin to flow like a waterfall.
She tries but can't controll them, For she knew her life would soon be over.
She closes her eyes and darkness commences, And she feels ok with whats about to take place here.
She makes a fist and puts the razor to her wrist.
When she finally gets the nerve, She makes the slit.
Death knocks at her bathroom door, As she lie cold and on the floor. The reaper is here to take her condenmed soul.
And now, finally, she knows she'll never be alone.
