Labrinth Poem by Sky Welch

Labrinth

Rating: 0.5

I walk through the tunnels of life and see darkness ahead, I still walk and wonder what the tunnels have to offer. Shelter in a storm? But I don't see an exit. Where does life end? Where did it begin? The world spins around me. I begin to lose hope. Then I see a light up ahead. It begins to fade, so I run. But I'm not fast enough and the light flickers off. I decide I'm trapped forever. I am to forever wonder the tunnels of life and meet my destiny entombed within stone.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In a way I believe that this poem expresses what most people go through. always trying to figure out what our purpose is in life and why we even have to live. but no matter what you will wonder the tunnels of life until the end.
